Bank House used to be the bank for the Glenlivet area until it closed in 1993. It is a Victorian house, built in 1899. It still boasts a number of original features, including elaborate pine doors and shutters, cornices in all rooms and an open fire in the lounge. Currently the original bank (still with the strong room) is used as the breakfast / dining room for our guests.

We moved to Glenlivet with our dog Finnan at the end of 2005 after aquiring Bank House and quitting our careers in the London area. Our younger dog Nevis (see photo at the top of this page) joined us in November '06. We very much enjoy the outdoors and in between renovating and restoring the house we try to spend as much time as possible exploring the beautiful surrounding area. As a result we can advise our guests on a number of walks off the beaten track. Please note that due to our love of dogs this establishment may not be suitable for guests who are not so fond of dogs or are allergic to them.

On arrival we will welcome you with tea or coffee and locally produced world famous shortbread. Breakfast, served in our beautiful breakfast room, includes a full Scottish, homemade bread, our own fresh free range eggs, Dutch specialities and locally produced jams and conserves. On return from a winter's day walk you may enjoy a glass of hot chocolate or something stronger!
